| Folk artists Glenn Newman and Willie Rascoe. Glenn Newman, Louisiana native now living in Hazel, Kentucky, and Willie Rasoce, Trigg County artist, team up in this imaginative folk art exhibit Newman's intricate drawings and etchings on gourds illustrate Cajun stories and folklore. Rascoe uses found wood, shell, bone and metal to create whimsical, three-dimensional sculptures. |

| Heritage Bank in Murray will be hosting a ticket raffle beginning September 1st for 2 tickets to the Miranda Lambert & Eric Church Concert that will be held at the Regional Special Events Center here in Murray on October 8th at 7:30 p.m. All fundraising efforts go to benefit the American Heart Association's annual HeartWalk event held in October. The tickets are located on the Lower Level of the arena and valued at $95.00. Chances to win are 1 Chance for $5.00, 3 Chances for $10.00 and 5 Chances for $20.00. Stop by either the Murray North or Murray South Office to enter for your chance to win. Drawing to be held on October 1st at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds go towards a great cause. |
