Overbey & Adams
is a general law practice comprised of Wm. Donald Overbey and William C.
(Chip) Adams, III. Our law offices are located at 291 Main Street in historic
downtown Murray.
Don Overbey's father first began practicing law in Murray in 1934. Don joined
the practice in 1962 after graduating from Vanderbilt University School of
Law. Don is a native of Murray and obtained his B. A. degree from Murray
State University.
Chip joined the firm as an associate in 1998 and became a partner January 2,
2001. Prior to returning to Murray, Chip was an associate with the firm of
Busald, Funk & Zeveley in the greater Cincinnati area. Chip is also a
native of Murray. He obtained his B.S. degree from Murray State University
and his J.D.from Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
Areas of practice include personal injury, real estate, civil litigation,
business and construction law, domestic relations, estate planning, probate,
and bankruptcy.
