Business Ambassadors
Chamber Ambassadors are a volunteer group consisting of Chamber members who function as the welcoming arm of the Chamber.  They perform many tasks to help the Chamber stay current, progressive, and focused.  They attend Chamber sponsored events such as ribbon cuttings, grand openings, ground breakings, monthly breakfasts, annual dinner, and other scheduled events where they serve as greeters and such.  Through the program, they will participate in membership and retention campaigns, as well as serve on Chamber committees.  Benefits include increased exposure and networking, personal and professional development, team building, and opportunities to advance into a Board member role.  Plus, we love to recognize our Ambassadors at every given opportunity! Small Business Saturday & #ShopSmall
The Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce, Murray Main Street, and Murray State University’s Small Business Development Center partner together each year to participate in American Express’ Small Business Saturday campaign, which is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  The day was created to celebrate and support the local economy by driving customers to the doors of small businesses.  We invite our local businesses to join our local campaign and join in promoting #shopsmall efforts across the nation.   The campaign includes advertising through various local and social media, and “Shop Small” promotional items from American Express.
